Our Story

A happy contracting professional is a national asset. Let’s focus on that job happiness.
Our mission is to help government contracting professionals master the modern rules, become procurement champions, and enjoy their lives in the process. Our nation desperately needs a new breed of mission-focused contracting professionals who bridge the public-private divide and deliver relevant products and services to their missions…meaningfully.
We understand it’s hard to make true changes and feel motivated when government bureaucracy continually adds more complex rules, fosters risk-averse environments, and fails to prioritize the development of modern acquisition professionals. Today, we see a growing number of understaffed, revolving-door offices with untrusted, undervalued, and underutilized workforces.
Government contracting offices need to revamp their acquisition training.

We can help with that.

We are former defense acquisition directors, contracting officers, lawyers, and modern acquisition instructors. We know the bureaucracy all too well. We know what it feels like to be discouraged, frustrated, and undervalued. We have worked with more than 70 government clients in the past 30 years, helping them modernize practices and uncover the true value of the historically significant acquisition profession.
We are harnessing this energy to create a new flavor of training courses. Our videos, live trainings, and workshops all have the same goal: to provide substantive, humorous, engaging modern procurement training that fosters confidence, motivation, and excellence. And job happiness. :)

P-39

P-39 received his name because the contract office used FAR Part 39 to purchase him. He is an irritable robot and all-around bad example of emerging technology. But he’s always ready to replace any human worker who only performs menial tasks rather than engaging in critical thinking and innovation. He is also our website designer. Clearly, he didn’t read this bio or he would not have posted it. Typical.
